Crisis management and crisis planning

Abstract

The paper examines the impact of an economic crisis on enterprises and on decisions made by enterprise management in crisis situations. It characterizes crisis manifestations in the industrial production in the Slovak Republic, identifies the main areas where crisis is manifestations in companies’ economy. It looks into the role and methods of crisis management and crisis planning in eliminating the effects of crises. Particular attention is also paid to human resource management in crisis situations.
