ARMS – AN INVESTIGATIVE WEAPON FOR THE COMPETITIVE STRUGGLE

Abstract

In the article is described purpose, functions and way of usage of the prototype Analytical, Research and Monitoring System - ARMS in application in business organizations for managing knowledge. The main aim is searching for a competitive advantage. It requires searching and process huge amount of very different and world wide spread information sources. These sources are indexed and processed in a unique way. ARMS supports also creation of knowledge portals in a different way to serve knowledge sharing within different subjects. Very important is also visualization of acquired information and knowledge for supporting its right perceiving. In a conclusion are presented some technical and economical aspects of ARMS.
